Identity & address verification
All borrowers complete identity and address verification before going live. Lenders complete identity and source-of-funds checks before placing offers. (Verification provider integration is a placeholder in this prototype.)
Soft credit search & affordability
Borrowers complete a soft credit footprint and affordability assessment at listing. Soft searches don’t affect your credit file.
Address never shown publicly
Borrower addresses are never displayed. They are only released to an affected lender (or their authorised recovery/legal representative) under a formal default-stage disclosure process.
Capital at risk
Lending on Lend To Me is not a savings product. Returns are not guaranteed. Borrowers may miss payments or default. You choose whether to enforce your own agreement.
Direct agreements
Each accepted lender offer is a separate, standard agreement directly between that lender and the borrower. Lend To Me operates the platform and services the agreements.
Optional borrower perks
Some borrowers offer optional thank-you perks. Perks are not a financial return, don’t replace repayment and don’t affect risk scoring.
Complaints
Open complaints route to our complaints team. Final decisions are eligible for independent review (placeholder).
