£300 to replace beds for the kids
The story
I'm a single mum of two and our family TV broke last week. It was the centre of our evenings — film nights, the kids watching cartoons before bed. I work full-time as a care assistant and can comfortably afford a small repayment over 6 months, but I don't have £500 sitting around. I'd rather borrow fairly from a person than pay 40% on a store-card. I always pay my bills on time.
